Amol is a disciple of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, Kolkata who is doyen in Vocal Music. Amol also learnt under the able guidance of Guru Pandit Gangadharbuva Pimpalkhare, Pune. Recipient of ‘Amol Gandharva’ at the hands of ‘Bhajan Samrat’ Shri Anup Jalota. Selected as a cultural ambassador of India to Latin American countries through a scholarship from Rotary International. Performed at various places to give a feel of Indian Classical Music in those countries. Awardee under ‘Cultural Talent Search Scholarship Scheme’ in the field of Hindustani Vocal Music by Center for Cultural Resource & Training. First Prize in the nationwide classical music competitions held by State Bank of India for 3 consecutive years. Performance in the presence of Shri. Anup Jalota, in the program organized by Akhil Bharatiya Grahak Panchayat at Tilak Smarak Mandir, Pune. Classical and light classical music performance in the presence of Shri. Shivraj Patil, New Delhi. Toured to Australia for performances at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide. It was a 5 weeks tour with 9 performances.
